The Italian industry of managed savings returns to grow strongly in October. According to the latest data released by Assogestioni, last month the positive balance of funding almost doubled compared to September, going from 3,6 to 6,8 billion euro. The total since the beginning of the year thus rises to 87,4 billion. New record for assets: 2.079 billion (from 2.056 billion in September), divided between 1.054 billion in collective management and 1.025 in portfolio management.

For the first time open funds exceeded the ceiling of one thousand billion in assets under management (+6,7 billion in October from +2,6 billion in September, +64,5 billion since the beginning of the year).

I closed-end funds recorded +26 million, with flows that in the 10 months mark +1,03 billion.

Setback for the portfolio management, which have achieved a collection of 46 million, from 923 million in September. In this case the total since January is 21,8 billion.

Le retail closed with a negative balance again (-154 million after -375 million), for a total of 4 billion in the ten months and the institutional they marked a sharp slowdown to +200 million, from +1,3 billion in September, for a total of 17,8 billion since January.

As for the different types of funds, i flexible they achieved net inflows of +2,7 billion, after +2 billion in September. Also rising i balanced (1,56 billion after 827 million), the bonds (1 billion after 735 million) and the equity (849 million after 490 million). Positive funding also for money market funds (+565 million), after the outflow in September (-1,4 billion), but since the beginning of the year the balance has remained negative (-992 million).
