Save: 40% more passengers in July

Save, in the general rebound of price lists, celebrates the passenger record in July with an increase of 2,17%, to 6,83 euros per share after reaching an intraday high of 6,90 (-6,44% in the last six months). The airport handled over 1 million passengers with peaks of 37 passengers a day.

The figure also includes the traffic generated by the carriers normally operating at Treviso Airport (232.203 passengers) and temporarily transferred to Venice for runway maintenance work, thus determining an increase of 40% compared to the same period of the previous year. Only the Venice airport instead recorded an 8,3% increase in traffic.

"The exceptional result of the month of July - commented the president of Save Enrico Marchi - gives us further confirmation not only of the effectiveness of our commercial development strategy, but also of the efficiency of an infrastructure that proves capable of supporting a traffic of over one million passengers in just one month”. Numbers that place Venice for the second consecutive quarter in third place in the Italian panorama of airports after Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa and before Milan Linate.
