Massimo Moratti is the new president of the family business. The Saras board of directors, as expected, ratified his appointment today. This was communicated by the energy company which also announced the appointment of the new CEO, Dario Scaffardi.
Scaffardi, who has been with the group since 1992 with various positions, is currently general manager and will continue in this role. He has been executive vice president since 2013.
"It is a privilege to be called to fill the position that my brother Gian Marco and before him our father Angelo were able to honor with the example, dedication and passion that Saras represents for us", comments the new issue in the note one of the energy group.
In the same context, the board of directors has set up a steering and strategy committee - made up of Massimo Moratti, Angelo Moratti, Dario Scaffardi, Angelomario Moratti, Gabriele Moratti and Giovanni Moratti - which will have advisory and support functions to the board in defining strategic guidelines of business, including finance, as well as guidelines on sustainability and will be chaired by Angelo Moratti.
