Mario Cal, vice president of the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, died by suicide. The news was learned this morning in court. The right arm of the founder Don Luigi Maria Verzè shot himself around 10.30 inside the hospital and died shortly after being hospitalized in desperate conditions.
Cal had been heard in recent days as a witness by prosecutor Luigi Orsi, in the investigation into the institute's maxi budget hole.
