The Vatican says goodbye to the St. Raphael. The nursing home founded by Luigi Verzé passes into the hands of the San Donato Hospital group, led by Joseph Rotelli, who won the auction by investing 405 million euro.
The IOR and the Malacalza family, who made up the opposing consortium with the right of first refusal, have declined to submit a new offer within the deadline, due today at noon.
"We are recording the notarial finding of the fact that IOR and Malacalza have not presented an alignment with Rotelli's offer", explained the notary Enrico Chiodi Daelli.
