It's halfway between a smartphone and a tablet, and thanks to a handy stylus it can even turn into a notepad. The new jewel of Samsung also arrives in Italy: the Galaxy Note. It costs 699 euros and represents the new frontier of technology: a cross between a tablet and a smartphone which, as the name suggests, can be transformed into a notepad, thanks to the comfortable S-Pen Stylus that can be used on full touch devices.

For the Korean company, therefore, it is yet another winning shot, in an attempt, so far successful, to counter Apple's leadership on the telecommunications market. After overtaking the Galaxy on the iPhone in the worldwide sale of smartphones, Samsung is now playing in advance and hunting for a market area where there are no products. The Galaxy Note is in fact a hybrid, original alternative both to handy smartphones, small but not very versatile like PCs, and to tablets, bulkier and more powerful, but not suitable for phone calls.

The Galaxy Note, based on Android operating system, It features a 5,3-inch, 1280 x 800 pixel Super AMOLED display, dual 8MP and 2MP cameras, HSPA+ connectivity and a 1,4GHz dual-core Samsung processor. All with a weight of just 178 grams.
