Banca Ifis main sponsor of Sampdoria for the 2022/23 championship. For the second consecutive year, the Institute will accompany the blucerchiata team in the matches of the next Serie A championship and the Italian Cup and will be alongside Sampdoria Women, the first women's team in its second year in the top division. The sponsorship provides for maximum visibility of the logo on the front of the men's and women's game shirt, which has been awarded many times as «the most beautiful shirt in the world». The Bank's logo will also be present on the pre-match and training clothing of the men's first team as well as on various communication and promo-advertising supports: LEDs, backdrops, luminous displays and spots. The agreement includes opportunities for the Bank's employees and their families to get involved, visibility on and off the field and opportunities for relationships with the Genoese and Ligurian territory where the Institute, which specializes in financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises, has strong roots, having been founded in Genoa in 1983 by the current President Sebastian Egon Fürstenberg.
The partnership with Sampdoria confirms Banca Ifis' commitment to sport. In fact, the Bank is a Premium Partner of Italian cycling classics 2022 and Official Partner of the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche and Il Lombardia. In addition to cycling, the Bank has chosen to support basketball with the sponsorship of Serie A Basketball League, of which it is Official Sponsor.
In addition to sponsorships, Banca Ifis is engaged in numerous initiatives to promote the spread of sport among young people both nationally and locally. The Institute recently donated 160.000 euros to the Italian National Olympic Committee for projects related to youth activities and in the Genoese area, it supported the Torneo di Ravano, the most important youth school event in Europe, as main sponsor.
