Intesa Sanpaolo stands out once again in its commitment to health, which has particularly intensified in recent months to help the country emerge from the Covid-19 emergency. The latest recognition comes with Aifin, the “Financial Innovation – Italian Awards” award that the XME Salute service of the leading Italian bank was awarded in the "P&C&Health" category.
To withdraw recognition Maurizio Cortese, CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Smart Care, the Intesa Sanpaolo Group company that it manages XME Cheers, a fully digital service, with 260.000 registered users. Above all, Cortese wanted to "thank the colleagues who made possible the launch of such an innovative and highly topical solution, at a time when health is more than ever an essential asset to be treated in every way".
In the phase of the Covid-19 emergency Intesa Sanpaolo has made the service free, raising the number of people who can benefit from it to 6, even if they do not belong to the family nucleus. Each customer can thus extend the advantages in terms of cost savings and reduction of booking times for specialist visits and diagnostic tests provided by the service to others.
