Salone del mobile 2022: the mini-kitchen meets hi tech, the case of Fabita and Adriano Design

The Salone del Mobile 2022 is approaching and the sometimes lesser-known realities of Made in Italy are being discovered. Quality and design, however, are not lacking

Salone del mobile 2022: the mini-kitchen meets hi tech, the case of Fabita and Adriano Design

The ones we offer you – Cucinotta and Ribalto by Fabita from the Marches – are two classic examples of good Italian design for the home, very simple in their refinement, very functional and user friendly and, at the same time, decidedly captivating. And since the warm season has begun which invites you to be outdoors, in the garden, on the balcony or on the terrace, Cucinotta and Ribalto can be the ideal solution for cooking outdoors due to their compactness and the possibility of being easily moved anywhere .

In less than half a square meter of kitchenette, the designer, Adriano Design, has managed to concentrate a mini kitchen composed of an induction hob, with an area dedicated to recharging mobile devices, and a hood, also available with high-performance ceramic filters, completed by a large drawer. Cucinotta has received international awards and recognitions and many publications in the most famous design and home improvement magazines.

Induction, which has elegantly made it possible to compress the dimensions of the cooking area (gas would have taken up more space) has been an obligatory choice since this technology, based on electromagnetism, was perfected in order to consume less electricity compared to the first versions. And also since the cost of gas has approached that of electricity. With its large "eye" and slender paws, this small but complete cooking surface can be easily placed in different situations and transported between environments.

But in addition to Cucinotta, Fabita has recently presented another jewel, flip, an extremely thin (only 35 cm) connected induction hob that can be lifted when not needed and repositioned on the hob when needed. The result is a set of great advantages: more space available, a very elegant kitchenette and finally, the hi-tech touch since the hob can be managed remotely from the tablet or smartphone so as to find, for example, already hot when you return the food. The disc rests on a wooden base, from which it can be extracted, and the reduction in thickness is due to a Fabita patent which has remotely controlled the components.

Fabita is a consolidated reality in the Marche area of Ancona and Fabriano, the world district of household appliances, kitchens and hoods, and is the evolution of an industrial reality with more than ten years of experience in the glass-ceramic induction and hoods sector aspirants. The meeting with the Turin studio Adrian Design represented another example of that creative and technological collaboration which has been at the basis of the worldwide success of the Italian home system since the post-war period: small and medium-sized companies with entrepreneurs ready for innovation and designers who are very attentive to the classic combination of Bauhaus industrial design: Form+ Function. The Turin studio is in fact a specialist in multidisciplinary solutions and experiments with innovative technological content.
