Salini Impregilo announces in a note that within the year the first lot of the high-speed and high-capacity railway line (AV/AC), Verona-Padua, built by the Iricav Due consortium of which the company is a part, will be authorised.

This is what was announced in recent days by Graziano Delrio, Minister of Infrastructures and Transport. The consortium also includes Astaldi, the Italian Water Pipeline Company, Lamaro Appalti and Fintecna.

The maximum value of the first lot of the Verona-Bivio Vicenza line amounts to over 2,4 billion, for a total cost of the work of approximately 5 billion. By the end of 2016, the authorization procedure for the two remaining lots is expected to be completed, which will concern the crossing of Vicenza and the Vicenza-Padua section.
