Let the shopping, not too compulsive if possible, begin. The 2019 summer sales are upon us and the Italians are preparing to put their wallets in order to take advantage of the most convenient opportunities.

Discounts from 10 to 70% percent the shop windows and shelves will crowd: from clothing to household appliances, through furniture, perfumery, footwear, no sector will be excluded from the sales.

From Sicily to the Aosta Valley, the dates to be marked in red on the calendar will be more or less the same, even if in some Regions we start earlier, in others we finish later. The sales period is in fact established at a regional level, but the tendency has always been to standardize the start, duration and conclusion as much as possible.

In general there will be time, the summer sales last between 40 and 60 days, even if, in case you want to buy a specific product, it is always better not to stop at the last moment: the risk is not to find the sizes, the measures, in short: to see the opportunity slip away from under your nose .

Take that into consideration the sales will not only concern physical stores, but also online ones: so if you don't want to go out in the sun given the prohibitive temperatures, just turn on your computer to look for what you need.

Offers, discounts, promotions and bargains will last for more than a month. But even in this case the timing is established at the regional level. SUMMER SALES 2019: BEWARE OF SCAMPS

Be careful what you buy, because the risk of being faced with "bogus balancesi” is around the corner. in general, every trader is obliged to show, next to the product, both the initial price and the discount percentage.

"The commercial operator - reads the website of the Lombardy Region - has the obligation to provide truthful information regarding the discounts applied both in advertising communications (which, even graphically, must not be presented in a misleading way for the consumer) and in price indications in the sales rooms. Furthermore, it cannot indicate further and different prices and must be able to demonstrate to the supervisory bodies the veracity of the information relating to the product".

Also beware of those who say that "the goods on sale cannot be changed under any circumstances". “If the product is found to be defective, the consumer can request the replacement of the item itself or a refund of the price paid upon presentation of the receipt, which must therefore be kept”.
