Summer sales 2018: from Rome to Milan, here are the dates

The 2018 summer sales are upon us. Have you already seen a dress that you like or some sandals that you absolutely must place in full view inside your shoe rack? Do you need appliances or do you need to buy a technological item? Perhaps, at this point, it is worth waiting a few days and sheltering your wallet because the now famous sales will soon begin and with them the usual shopping season.

Discounts from 10% up to 50, 60 even 70% on a vast amount of products in all Italian regions, from North to South.

SUMMER SALE 2018: THE START DATE

As usual, the start date of the sales will be the same in almost all regions, from Calabria to the Aosta Valley. The exceptions will be very few territories, such as the province of Trento , Sicilia, where the sales will start on July 1st, or like the autonomous province of Bolzano, where every merchant will be able to freely choose the dates within which to apply their discounts.

For all other regions, the 2018 summer sales will start on the same day: the date to be marked in red on the calendar will be Saturday 7th July.

SUMMER SALES 2018: WHEN THEY END

But if the start date of the sales corresponds, the day of their conclusion varies from region to region. ORIn fact, each territory can choose the duration of the discounts.

In Abruzzo, Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Molise, Sardinia, Umbria and Veneto the sales will end between 29, 30 August and 31 August. One or two days later, however, the discounts in Basilicata, Calabria, Marche, Tuscany and Valle D'Aosta will end.

In terms of duration, in Puglia you can buy products with discounts until mid-September, in Lazio it will go on for six weeks, in Piedmont for eight. The lucky ones, however, will be the citizens of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Sicily, where the sales will last for eleven and twelve weeks respectively.

Moving from the longest to the least lasting: the shorter balances will be in Liguria, where they will stop on August 14 and in the Province of Trento (August 12).

  • Friuli-Venezia-Giulia: from 7 July to 30 September
  • Lazio: from 7 July for six weeks
  • Liguria: from 7 July to 14 August
  • Lombardy: from 7 July to 30 August
  • Marche: from 7 July to 1 September
  • Molise: from 7 July to 30 August
  • Piedmont: from 7 July for 8 weeks
  • Puglia: from 7 July to 15 September
  • Sardinia: from 7 July to 30 August
  • Sicily: from July 1st to September 15th
  • Tuscany: from 7 July to 1 September
  • Umbria: from 7 July to 30 August
  • Valle D'Aosta: from 7 July to 1 September
  • Veneto: from 7 July to 31 August
  • Autonomous Province of Trento: from 1 July to 12 August
  • Autonomous Province of Bolzano: the date is determined by the merchants.
