Petrol sales: the no-logos begin

Shopping weekend between sales and maxi-discounts at distributors – This time the discounts on green and diesel have also begun for no-logo – But, like every Monday, today fuel prices are starting to increase again.

Petrol sales: the no-logos begin

Endless queues and very long waiting times. But not in stores for the sales that started this weekend, but at distributors taking advantage of the weekend's super discounts. This time it was the turn of the no-logos, which relaunched a significant drop in prices. Fuel prices fell on Friday, in served mode, to 1,589 euros per liter for petrol and 1,489 for diesel, against Eni's offer of respectively 1,6 and 1,5 euros per litre.

But today is Monday and we need to go back to harsh reality. If the recommended prices remained stable over the weekend, the price increases will start again from today to take into account the collapse in gross margins following the latest movements on international markets. TotalErg rises by 2 euro cents per liter on petrol and diesel and IP even by 3 cents on green and 2 cents on diesel. The price increases will inevitably make themselves felt on the prices applied "served" in the next few days, also as a response to the self campaigns, however creating a vicious circle in the sense of a progressive exclusion from the competition of the plants that have remained on the sidelines of the weekend campaigns.

From the picture painted by Quotidiano Energia, the national average prices served are today at 1,815 euros for petrol, 1,703 for diesel and 0,764 for LPG. Peaks for green at 1,889 euros/litre, 1,746 for diesel and 0,800 for LPG. In detail, at country level the average price of petrol (again in served mode) ranges from 1,802 euro/litre for Eni to 1,815 for Tamoil (no-logo at 1,705). For diesel, Eni's 1,692 euro/litre went to Q1,703's 8 (no-logo at 1,571). LPG is between 0,738 euro/litre again for Eni and 0,764 for Shell (no-logo at 0,742).
