Saipem has been awarded new drilling contracts in Indonesia, West Africa, the Arabian Gulf and Latin America for a total value of approximately USD 850 million, of which USD 540 million relating to offshore activities and the use of four different vessels from the Saipem fleet. The announcement was made by the company itself in a statement issued today.

The news, however, does not seem to have warmed the hearts of the markets too much, since Saipem advanced by less than half a percentage point in the late morning, proving to be more sluggish than the performance of the Italian list, in a bearish trend that seems to have triggered in the last week.
