Saipem pays the bankruptcy of the Norwegian Seadrill on the stock exchange

Losing on the stock market is never a pleasure but doing it when the price list rises is doubly bad. This is what is happening to Saipem in today's session in Piazza Affari, which is losing just under 2% (-1,86%) at the beginning of the afternoon when the FtseMib index excels in Europe with an increase higher than 1% dragged once again by FCA and its spin-off hypotheses.

At the close of trading, Saipem lost 2,9%.

Saipem, which since the beginning of the year has lost 43% and which today is the worst stock in the FtseMib, pays for faults that are not its own and that is the contagion effect of the bankruptcy of the Norwegian company Seadrill which declared bankruptcy, has filed for Chapter 11 of the American bankruptcy order and saw its stock fall on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 19%.

Seadrill, which in the last quarter presented accounts in deep red with operating losses of 100 million dollars, is infecting the entire sector of oil & gas service companies including Saipem, which is fully paying the price.
