Saipem announces that it has already exceeded 50% of its new order acquisition target for 2013 in the Engineering and Construction business unit.
The total value of the new contracts acquired since January 2013 in the "Engineering and construction" business unit, explains a note, is in fact approximately 6,1 billion euros and supports the achievement of an annual order volume in line with the acquisitions of the last years of about 11 billion euros”.
“Although this is an intermediate and partial result – commented the managing director Umberto Vergine – for 2013 we are very satisfied. Not only does it help us ensure Saipem's target business volume but we proceed with the primary objective of improving the margins of our order book”.
