In the first quarter of 2013, the Saipem group recorded a decrease in profits of 110 million euros. The decrease is 52,4% compared to the same period of 2012. New orders in the quarter amounted to 2.883 million euros, down on the 3.116 million euros of the first quarter of the previous year.
Revenues amounted to 3.089 million euros (-1,4% compared to the first quarter of 2012). Operating profit amounted to 202 million euro (-45,8%). Technical investments amounted to 340 million euros (316 million euros in the first quarter of 2012). The stock fell slightly in the early hours of the afternoon.
