The two lists of candidates for the renewal of the Saipem board of directors have been filed, in view of the shareholders' meeting to be held on May 3rd.
The first majority list, drawn up jointly by Cdp and Eni (whose shareholding totals 43,095% of Saipem's ordinary share capital), is made up of the following names: Claudia Carloni, Leone Pattofatto, Francesco Caio (candidate for President), Stefano Cao (current ad) Paolo Fumagalli and Maria Elena Cappello.
We recall that both shareholders aim to confirm CEO Stefano Cao and to appoint Francesco Caio as president.
The second list of candidates was presented by Anima, Arca Fondi, Eurizon Capital, Eurizon Capital, Fidelity Funds Sicav, Fidelity European Opportunities Fund, Fideuram Asset Management (Ireland), Fideuram Investimenti, Interfund Sicav, Mediolanum Gestione Fondi, Mediolanum International Funds, Planetarium Fund Anthilia, Ubi Sicav, Ubi Pramerica. All together the managers hold 1,9% of Saipem's capital. The list is made up of four independent names: Federico Ferro – Luzzi, Ines Maria Lina Mazzilli and Paul Simon Schapira.
