The former CEO of Safilo, Roberto Vedovotto, had 1.168.000 euros and a Ferrari California worth 174 euros seized by the Finance authorities. The manager is under investigation for insider trading by the prosecutor of Milan Mauro Clerici.
Vedovotto allegedly abused privileged information in selling Safilo shares received as stock options before the non-renewal of the licensing agreement with Gucci, a brand of the French group Kering, for which Vedovotto went to work after leaving the position in the eyewear company.
