The President of Sace, Giovanni Castellaneta, met in Cairo with political authorities and exponents of the Egyptian business and banking world. The mission stems from the need to reiterate the "unchanged interest" of the Italian Government and Sace in Egypt despite the difficult economic situation and the change in the political situation, currently still in the stabilization phase. Sace will continue "the action of insurance-financial support for commercial penetration and Italian investments in Egypt". Tailor-made tools and services are being studied not only for Italian SMEs, but also for Egyptian SMEs, making explicit the interest in the growth and development of the local entrepreneurial fabric. In Sace's portfolio there are transactions with a value of 127 million euros relating to commercial transactions with Egypt above all in the manufacturing, textile, steel and infrastructure sectors
