At the head of SACE since May 2007, Alessandro Castellano was confirmed today as Chief Executive Officer of the important diversified insurance group, which offers financial products, risk management and export credit solutions, cover against political risks, sureties, credit insurance and factoring.
As stated in an official press release, the first SACE Board of Directors meeting was held today after the appointments by the Shareholders' Meeting of last July 2nd. The Board of Directors proceeded to appoint Alessandro Castellano as Chief Executive Officer for the three-year period 2013-2015, confirming him the company's operational powers.
Having joined Sace in 2004 as General Manager with responsibility for business development, the newly elected CEO contributed to the transformation of the company from a public body into a joint stock company, outlining its new business model. In his curriculum vitae he can also boast experiences in Deutsche Morgan Grenfell & Co. Ltd of London and in Mediocredito Centrale of the Capitalia Group.
