The SACE Board of Directors has approved a guarantee, equal to 50% of the 31 million euro loan for the construction of the Librandello photovoltaic park in Chiarimonte Gulfi in the Province of Ragusa by Solar Energy Italia 6. The park, financed on a project basis finance, will be located in one of the areas with the greatest solar radiation on the island and will have a total power of 9,2 megawatts.
This transaction demonstrates the importance of the renewable energy sector for the SACE Group, with insurance coverage granted amounting to 700 million euros in the last 5 years.
