An agreement was signed today between a pool of banks made up of Unicredit, Imi Bank e Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna which will allow the construction in project finance of the wind farm of Ascoli Satriano in the province of Foggi by Eurowind.
The credit line, approximately 31% guaranteed by SACE, has enabled the Apulian company to finance more than two-thirds of the total investment (60 million euros) for the construction of a wind energy production plant with a total power of 38 megawatts.
With the latter system, Eurowind, a company of the Lomaestro group, active in the production, transmission and distribution of energy, reaches the milestone of 100 megawatts of total power, generated by the plants built over a decade of activity in the renewable energy sector.
With this operation SACE confirms its commitment in the renewable energy sector considered strategic for the development of the Italian system, for which it has already issued guarantees for a value of 700 million euro in the last 5 years.
