Sace: Italian exports at 480 billion in 2019

A world that travels at a slower pace, risks that grow and become more widespread due to financial and currency dynamics, the commodity cycle and heightened political risks. It is in this framework now permanently marked by the impacts of the global financial crisis that “RE-action. Export Calling”, the latest Export Report by SACE (Cdp Group) which stimulates exporting companies to react and compete on international markets, albeit in a highly complex era.

The Report forecasts moderate growth for Italian exports over the next four years, at an average annual rate of 3,7%, up to the value of 2019 billion euros in 480, and dedicates an in-depth analysis to instrumental mechanics, the sector flagship and driving force of Made in Italy in the world for its innovative and export capacity (equal to about 21% of total Italian exports), which could reach a value of 2019 billion euros (from the current 100) by 80.

With this edition of the Export Report, SACE also introduces the Risk&Export Map, an integrated tool to help Italian companies identify the countries with the greatest potential not only for exports but also – new this year – for investments, thanks to the surveys of two indices: the Export Opportunity Index (EOI) and the Investment Opportunity Index (IOI).
