SACE and Intesa Sanpaolo announce the finalization of two operations in support of the foreign supplies of Sanlorenzo, one of the main global players in the construction of motor yachts. Active since 1958, Sanlorenzo is a global boutique-company, with headquarters in Ameglia (La Spezia). It produces custom-made yachts, with a very high level of customization and in limited numbers. In more than half a century, the shipyard has built over 600 yachts, each one different from the next.
As part of the transactions, SACE guaranteed two guarantees, for a total value of 10 million dollars, issued by Intesa Sanpaolo, for the supply of two fiberglass yachts destined for the US market. The operation, which enhances and confirms the role of SACE in supporting the foreign development of Made in Italy excellence, consolidates the relationship between Intesa Sanpaolo and Sanlorenzo, which recently joined the innovative "Programma Filiere" developed by the banking group with the aim of improving the conditions of access to credit and making the production chains of excellence of the Italian entrepreneurial system grow. A project that will also have significant repercussions for the Ligurian industrial system, aiming to involve around 700 supplier companies in the area, for a total turnover of 1,2 billion euros and a potential credit limit of 350 million euros.
