SACE and FederUnacoma: agreement for the export of agricultural machinery

SACE and FederUnacoma have signed a memorandum of understanding to support, with insurance-financial solutions, the competitiveness of the agricultural machinery sector, whose exports are expected to grow strongly over the next 4 years

SACE and FederUnacoma, the National Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, have finalized a memorandum of understanding to strengthen the initiatives in support of the competitiveness of the sector, facilitating recourse to the insurance-financial solutions of the SACE group useful for responding to economic difficulties and growing safely both in Italy and abroad.

The agreement, signed by the Chief Executive Officer of SACE Alessandro Castellano and the President of FederUnacoma Massimo Goldoni, provides for the launch of a series of joint technical and commercial initiatives to allow the approximately 300 member companies of the Federation to orientate themselves and choose SACE best suited to your needs. FederUnacoma member companies will also be able to take advantage, where possible, of the special offers dedicated to SMEs: from insurance against the risk of non-payment to the protection of foreign investments, from sureties to financial guarantees for internationalisation, to factoring services.

According to SACE forecasts, mechanical engineering will drive the performance of Italian exports over the next four years, with average annual growth rates of 9,7%, which will rise to double digits for the agricultural machinery sector. Among the most promising markets for Italian exports in this sector, SACE signals growing opportunities also in Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa: in these countries, Italian machinery will be able to contribute to raising the quality of industrial production, entering international production chains rapidly developing.
