SACE has guaranteed a 1,5 million euro loan, disbursed by Cariparma Crédit Agricole, intended to support Harmont & Blaine's growth in emerging markets, well-known Neapolitan brand of high-end sportswear. The firm presents a excellent global positioning: in fact it has about seventy boutiques in Italy and the same number abroad (from the USA to Central America, from the Middle East to Russia up to Hong Kong), as well as being present in one thousand five hundred clothing stores all over the world.

The credit line guaranteed by SACE and provided entirely by Cariparma Credit Agricole it will support investments in advertising and promotional activities and the costs of opening and restructuring showrooms in Russia, the Czech Republic, Mexico and Panama. The operation was completed, for the Banking Group, by the Naples Business Centre.

Emerging markets will continue to account for the best pool of opportunities for Italian clothing in the next few years. According to SACE forecasts le exports to these markets they will achieve an average growth rate of 8,8% in 2014-2017, well above the more moderate 5,1% towards advanced markets. The best prospects will concern them high-end Italian productions, which today hold 17% of the global market.
