BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas and SACE, which together with SIMEST is the export and internationalization hub of the CDP Group, have completed a loan transaction from 700mila euro to support the international growth plans of the well-known luxury luggage brand Bric's .

The credit line, disbursed by BNL and guaranteed by SACE, is aimed at supporting the costs associated with the expansion of the Como-based group on foreign markets, in particular Europe, Asia and the United States. Bric's has always been oriented towards international markets as demonstrated by the long-standing relationships with SIMEST which has supported the company in its expansion plans in North America.

"Thanks to the support of SACE SIMEST, we have been able to successfully deal with the expansion of our company in foreign markets, especially in the United States where we have seen the notoriety of the Bric's brand grow more and more - declared the CEO Maria Angela Briccola-. "In particular, the support from SIMEST in the years prior to 2008 was fundamental in coping with the economic difficulties of the current financial crisis".

For Bric's it's a big hit. The historic company in the Lake Como area has been active since 1952 in the production of suitcases, travel bags, leather saddlery. The company, which is aimed at a medium-high end of the market by conveying key values ​​such as quality, craftsmanship and functionality, has become a leading brand in the sector over the years. With an international soul, Bric's is present through its numerous points of sale both in Italy and abroad, in particular in Germany, China, the United States and South Korea, where it generates over 50% of its turnover.
