They kick off today in Florence, hosted by SACE, the Spring Meetings of the Berne Union and the Club of Prague. During the five days of closed-door meetings – which will also be attended by the Deputy Minister for Economic Development Carlo Calenda, the economist Marco Simoni and the mayor of Florence Dario Nardella – the historic and 'mature' members of the Berne Union and the members more recent emerging countries of the Prague Club will sit at the same technical tables.

The main topics under discussion will be international trade and finance, cooperation with banks, the development of new insurance products and the emergence of new business models and areas of activity, and special programs to support SMEs.
