Sace will be the advisory for the establishment and launch of the activities of Exiar, the export credit agency of the Russian Development Bank Vneshconombank (VEB), born in October 2011.
Sace's task will be to provide consultancy services and technical training of personnel with regard to the product portfolio, its management and the assessment of the risks to be assumed.
In addition to the advisory contract, Sace and Exiar have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening commercial and investment opportunities abroad in their respective reference markets through the exchange of information and technical assistance.
The partnership between the two agencies will create a support platform for internationalization projects of Italian companies in the CIS area, which is very active in the energy, infrastructural and aeronautical sectors with estimated investments exceeding one billion euro.
With the award of this contract, Russia further strengthens the role of key partner for Sace.
