SACE, the insurance-financial group led by Alessandro Castellano, has granted a guarantee to Poltrona Frau on a 2,2 million euro loan aimed at projects for growth and penetration of foreign markets. The internationalization plan is focused on strengthening the brand's presence on emerging markets also through the establishment of subsidiaries or in collaboration with local partners.
Poltrona Frau, a company listed on the STAR segment of the Milan Stock Exchange, is the holding company of the group of the same name, today one of the major international players in the high-end furniture sector with the Poltrona Frau, Cassina and Cappellini brands. The group is present in the main markets through 20 subsidiaries, two main production plants in Italy, 70 single-brand stores and over a thousand retailers worldwide. The product offering is highly diversified and ranges from sofas and armchairs for the retail market, to furnishings for theatres, hotels, restaurants, interior furnishings for cars, planes, helicopters and yachts.
With this operation, SACE, which is present in Piedmont with an office in Turin, confirms its commitment to supporting the internationalization of one of the sectors that has made Made in Italy great in the world.
