Saccomanni: "Yes on the pact between companies and trade unions, but everyone's contribution is needed"

“I appreciated it from the first moment”. To say it is Fabrizio Saccomanni, speaking of the Genoa document of companies and trade unions, but he warns: "To implement the programme, everyone's contribution is needed". Among the parties involved, also the Government, which, according to the Economy Minister, "will do its part with the Stability Law".

Returning to the document, Saccomanni specified that he found it “in harmony with the strategic line on which the Government has obtained the trust of Parliament. That said, during last Sunday's debate I thought it appropriate to point out that the overall impact of the proposed reforms is very onerous for the conditions of the public debt”. Finding the resources, he says, "will be possible if each of the parties involved is able to make their own contribution".

The Minister of the Economy then held a speech at the conference of the Confindustria Study Center: “The cyclical intervention has taken place and it has been strong and will continue. Some signs of improvement in the economy are linked to this intervention”.

On the other hand, on the Stability law, Saccomani clarified that the objective is to "Look to the future". The law "will be scrutinized very carefully by the European Commission, we will approve it by the Council of Ministers by 15 October, and it will be presented to the European Parliament and simultaneously to the European Commission".
