SabMiller buys Foster, the British are the kings of beer

Money and bubbles. The new and perhaps final act of the war between the two beer giants, the British SabMiller and the Australian Foster's.
The British brewery, which also controls the Peroni and Nastro Azzurro brands, has increased its offer to buy the rival up to 9,9 billion Australian dollars and announced that the offer has been accepted. Thus ends the epic that had begun in June when, after presenting an offer of 9,5 billion, Miller found herself with a dry mouth, or rather with a dry throat, in the face of the dry refusal received.
There was therefore a sourning of relations which culminated in a hostile offer presented directly to the shareholders of Foster's. The world lords of hops will therefore allow themselves a toast after months of exhausting negotiations. However, the shareholders of the Sabmiller group, who coldly welcomed the announcement, will not toast. The stock loses almost 1% in London. The bitter (in fact) consolation? They will be able to drink us on a glass of lager.
