He made the history of seat belts for car: safety belt celebrates half a century. Born from an intuition of the young brothers Piero and Giorgio Marsiaj on 20 September 1972, the Turin company keeps the world of the automobile and that of design, craftsmanship and hi-tech under the same roof. Duqnue, not only seat belts but also seats for the most performing luxury cars. To celebrate his 50 years of activity, Sabelt organized a "family day" with employees and their families at the historic headquarters in Moncalieri (Turin).

My two sons Gregorio and Massimiliano who hold the position of vice presidents support a solid and competent management to ensure the maintenance of a long-term strategy. We believe in the local area, in the culture of knowing how to do things well”.

Sabelt seat belts: from Formula 1 to space

Currently, Sabelt provides 7 out of 10 teams of formula 1 and the main teams of the Motorsport (e.g. Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, Alpine, Maserati, Abarth and Cupra). But not just automotive. The Piedmontese company has also developed a line of seat belts for the space sector e aviation.

In the last 5 years it has increased its workforce by over 200 people, a trend that does not intend to slow down, setting itself the goal of hiring a further 3 professional figures over the next 150 years. Despite the market uncertainties of recent years, a note explains, Sabelt will also recover 2022% of the pre-covid turnover and is working to exceed the threshold of 100 million euros in annual turnover in the next two years.
