"We are listening to our passengers and responding to their requests." This is how John Alborante comments on the decision which will come into force from tomorrow 1 February, to assign seats on all Ryanair flights.
Passengers of the Irish airline will be able to choose the seat they prefer both during the booking process and during online check-in.
Choosing will present three seat options available at an additional cost: Premium seats (i.e. Rows 1-5, 16, 17 and 32,33) which entitle passengers to priority boarding, the option of extra legroom and the ability to disembark faster. Standard seats (i.e. rows 6-15 and 18-31) where passengers can pre-select window or aisle seats or ensure they are seated together at a cost of 5 euros.
Finally customers who immense present the desire to pre-select your seats, will have to check in between 7 days and two hours before the flight and will be assigned a seat free of charge.
Customers already in possession of the priority boarding service for flights departing after 1 February 2014 can select a standard seat free of charge when they check-in online.
