The Moscow Stock Exchange falls again in the wake of the tensions resulting from the new sanctions arriving from Europe and the USA and the clash with Ukraine over the still unsolved case of the Malaysia Airlines plane shot down last week. The Micex index lost up to -1,5% in the morning: for the main Russian index it is the sixth consecutive day of decline.

The ruble also continues to devalue, which closed last week with the exchange rate against the dollar at its highest since May 12, at 35,243 rubles. At 13 pm Italian the exchange rate dropped slightly but still remained above 35 rubles a 35.0989.
