RTR, final rush: Enel out of the tender, remains F2i

After Eni, Enel also withdraws from the tender for RTR plants, the most important M&A operation in Italy in the production of electricity from solar sources in 2018. Once again the news was released by Reuters which cites sources close to the dossier.

The tender concerns 130 plants with a capacity of 330 MW in Italy owned by Terra Firma. However, F2i remains in the game for RTR which, initially, had presented its own expression of interest together with Enel through the XNUMX/XNUMX joint venture EF Solare Italia.

We recall that the spokesman for Eni, had made it known on Tuesday of no longer be interested in RTR assets, while in mid-June A2A took the step back. The deadline for the binding offers is set for tomorrow, Thursday 12 July, while the operation – worth 1,3 -1,5 billion, including the debt (900 million) – should be completed by August. In addition to F2i, Sonnedix, Quercus, but also China General Nuclear remain in the race, while Tages' intentions are less certain.
