There are just a few days left for the offers and the tender for the purchase of Rtr, the company that manages 134 photovoltaic plants in Italy with an installed capacity of 334 MW, is heating up.

The company was put up for sale by the private equity fund Terra Firma and the Italian giants do not intend to let the opportunity slip away. In fact, EF Solare Italia – an equal joint venture between Enel Green Power and the infrastructure fund F2i – Eni, the Sonnedix group and Tages are in the running. Instead, A2a, Erg and Mesdar took a step back.

Based on some rumors reported by Milano Finanza, the deadline for the delivery of offers has been set on July 12 and in pole position for the purchase of the second operator in Italy in the production of electricity from solar sources there would be Ef Solare Italia.

Ef Solare Italia is the leading Italian operator in its own photovoltaic sector with 123 plants located throughout the country and an installed capacity of approximately 395 MW. The official objective of the company led by Diego Percopo is to reach an installed capacity of 1.000 MW in the medium term and the purchase of Rtr would speed up the process of approaching this goal.
