MacroGeo was born last September and is already starting to think big. The research company that aims to combine macro-financial and geopolitical analysis, with the profits being reinvested in the company itself, has announced the appointment of Nouriel Roubini as chief economic advisor.
The global finance guru, known for his predictions on the 2008-2009 global financial crisis will play an important role, working alongside CEO Brunello Rosa and head of geopolitics Lucio Caracciolo, in defining the pillars of the research conducted by MacroGeo .
Carlo De Benedetti, chairman and co-founder of MacroGeo commented on the appointment: “I am extremely happy that Professor Roubini joins the MacroGeo team. I have known him for some time and I believe that his knowledge of the markets, his solid experience and his independent vision on the evolution of macrofinance represent a significant contribution for MacroGeo”.
