Scrapping bis folders: deadline for the first incoming installment

Countdown to the scrapping bis: the first or only installment relating to debts entrusted to collection from January 31st to September 30th 2017 must be paid by July XNUMXst - Here's what you pay, how to pay and why it is risky to wait for the forgiveness

Scrapping bis folders: deadline for the first incoming installment

Scrapping of tax bills: last call. There are just a few hours left before the deadline, tomorrow Tuesday 31 July, to comply with the first or only payment of what the Revenue Agency calls "facilitated definition", better known as the bis scrapping of the folders.

WHAT ABOUT THE JULY 31ST DEADLINE

The July 31 deadline concerns payments:

  • the first or single installment for debts entrusted for collection from 1 January to 30 September 2017;
  • of the fourth installment of the previous scrapping;
  • the balance of the installments due as at 31 December 2016 of any installment plans in progress as at 24 October 2016, which are part of the scrapping bis.

Those who cannot pay all the amounts due still have time to choose which of these to pay using the "ContiTu" service directly online from the Revenue-Collection Agency website.

On the other hand, there is time until 31 October 2018 for the loads entrusted for collection from 2000 to 2016.

SCRAPPING OF FOLDERS: WHAT DO YOU PAY FOR?

Taxpayers who have adhered to the procedure must pay only the amounts due, without penalties and default interest. It also applies to traffic fines, on which neither interest nor the increases established by law will be paid.

SCRAPPING OF FOLDERS: HOW DO YOU PAY?

The Revenue-Collection Agency explains that payment can be made through various channels:

  • Bank Office;
  • ATMs enabled for Cbill payment services;
  • internet banking;
  • post offices;
  • tobacconists belonging to Banca 5 SpA;
  • Sisal and Lottomatica circuits;
  • Revenue Agency-Collection portal;
  • the Equiclick App, via the PagoPa platform;
  • the branches of the Agency.

SUMMARY OF SUMS DUE AND BILLS AT A CLICK

In response to the application for adhesion to the bis scrapping, the Agenzia delle Entrate-Collezione sent the "Communication of the sums due" to the taxpayers. Anyone wishing to request a copy can do so from the website www.agenziaentrateriscossione.gov.it.

Furthermore, it is also active on the Collection Agency portal ContiYou, the service that allows you to choose online to pay only some of the notices/folders contained in the "Communication of sums due" on a facilitated basis.

BEWARE OF PAYMENTS: WAITING FOR THE AMENDMENT IS A RISK

For those who miss the deadline, the procedures for recovering the sums due will resume. The Revenue Agency underlines this point because, after the announcements relating to the "fiscal peace" (i.e. al amnesty provided for by the yellow-green government contract) there is the risk that someone will think of not paying for the scrapping to get an even more substantial discount with the new amnesty. However, it would be a great risk, because the Minister of the Treasury, Giovanni Tria, has ruled out the possibility of a new general amnesty. Hence the invitation to comply without waiting for further hypothetical concessions.
