Romans: “Forza Italia comes out of the majority. The maxi amendment to the Stability is inadmissible”

"The experience with the government ends here": these are the words, which should bring the curtain down on the experience of the government of the broad Pd-Pdl agreements led by Letta, expressed today at the press conference by the leader of Forza Italia in the Senate, Paolo Romans.

Romans: “Forza Italia comes out of the majority. The maxi amendment to the Stability is inadmissible”

"We have come to the conclusion that there are no longer the conditions to continue this collaboration with the government": these are the words, which should bring the curtain down on the experience of the government of the broad Pd-Pdl agreements led by Letta, expressed today in press conference by the leader of Forza Italia in the Senate, Paolo Romani.

"We called the Head of State Giorgio Napolitano and made him aware of this communication that we would have made", i.e. of the decision to leave the majority, then added Paolo Romani again, during a press conference. “The maxi amendment presented by the government is totally inadmissible”, Romani also closed.

Berlusconi's party therefore did not take up the appeal launched a few minutes earlier by the minister for relations with Parliament, Dario Franceschini, who had spoken thus: "The vote of confidence on the stability law is an opportunity for a clear, transparent and I hope peaceful confrontation between the political forces on the trust relationship of the government with the Parliament”.
