As every year, the appointment with the Financial Forum organized by the Association of Financial Operators returns to the Capital: in fact, the twentieth Congress of Financial Operators takes place in Rome on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 February, an event in which Assiom Forex (The Financial Markets Association of Italy - Association of Financial Operators), the largest association of market operators at an international level with over 1.500 members.
The two days will include numerous moments of in-depth analysis on the market issues most felt by operators and convivial occasions aimed at consolidating the associative spirit. Like every year, the Congress will culminate on Saturday morning with a speech by the Governor of the Bank of Italy, Ignazio Visco: it will be his first official speech of the year, will focus on the most important issues of national, European and international economics and monetary policy, fully embracing both the most topical topics and those structurally of greater importance for the markets and for the banking industry.
On the part of the Association, space will be given both to the theme of regulations, which regulate and influence the evolution of the markets in an increasingly pressing manner, and to the theme of economic growth, also linked to the development of credit, on the side of demand and offer, especially in our country.
Friday 7th at 16pm Assiom Forex organized a workshop on the theme “Central Counterparties: looking for a balance between concentration and higher risks. Reflections in the light of the regulatory changes”, while on Saturday, starting at 15pm, one will be held Round table entitled "Italy/Europe, impossible credit: is it true or not?" moderated by Roberto Napoletano, Director of Il Sole 24 Ore, Radiocor and Radio24, which will be attended by highly authoritative speakers: Fabio Gallia, CEO of BNL BNP Paribas Group and Head of the BNP Paribas Group for Italy, Federico Ghizzoni, CEO of Unicredit, Mauro Moretti, CEO of the Ferrovie dello Stato group.
