Roma: Rutelli, you don't need just one man but a team of 100 people

The next candidate to become mayor of the capital he will not be able to present himself alone but with a team already chosen of one hundred people. These are the words of the former mayor of Rome Francesco Rutelli during the transmission of La7 'Otto e mezzo' outlining the traits that the next mayor of the capital must have.

"The era is over - added Rutelli in which one introduces himself saying 'Ghe think about me' because Rome is an extraordinarily complex reality". For Rutelli whoever aims to be the next candidate for mayor of the Capitoline city will have to present himself in the guise of a "conductor” who will have one hundred people “next to and not behind” and each of these, according to Rutelli, will have to deal with a specific field: from budgeting to cleaning through maintenance and mobility. And precisely on this last field Rutelli underlined how Attack, the Roman public transport company is “technically failed".

"The city - Rutelli explained again - has enormous, structural problems, which can only be tackled with great teamwork, which Marino was unable to do".

Furthermore, Rutelli expressed a wish for the personality who will have to lead the city from the next few days until the spring vote: "I hope - he said - that the government will not appoint as commissioner an unknown bureaucrat, but a person of the highest profile and undisputed quality, like a governor of Ciampi 20 years ago”.
