Rome: "Nine and a half weeks" of films and reviews at the Casa del Cinema

With the summer, the festival hosted by the Casa del Cinema's open-air theater returns: from 13 July to 21 September there will be "9 and a half weeks" of cinema divided into 7 festivals designed, as usual, for different audiences and divided into appointments weekly.

Monday with Everyone to the sea even those who have remained in the city will be able to go to the beach reliving the Italian summer through the decades, from the early 50s to the present day and will discover (or remember) how life on the beach has changed, from the innocence of "Domenica d' August” to the bitter alienation of “Tutti al mare” with the tragic shadow of “Terraferma”. Tuesday, however, will be dedicated toTribute to Suso Cecchi d'Amico and Pietro Germi that they would have turned 100 this summer; Wednesday will be the turn of From Salzburg to Villa Borghese, an exhibition dedicated to all music lovers who will be able to admire eight opera masterpieces; on Thursday will be celebrated i stage masters, costume and set designers who have made a decisive contribution to creating the image of Italian cinema; on Friday with Who is on stage film versions of some classics of world theater will be proposed; on Saturday with My friends it will be a day dedicated to animal friends, protagonists of many films. Finally, on Sunday it will be possible to review the history of our Rome, having it told by Gigi Magni thanks to the review The Rome of Gigi Magni  accompanying the exhibition “Gigi Magni: Indian ink epigrams” hosted by the internal halls of the Casa del Cinema 14 21 from July to September.
