The new Giunta of Rome is a monochrome Pd. The names of the new members of the team led by Ignazio Marino have finally arrived today. During the press conference held after the usual photo in the Promoteca, Ignatius Marino he justified the choices, also responding to the statements made by the Prime Minister and secretary of the Democratic Party a few days ago: “These people were all chosen by the mayor for their ability and to triple their efforts at the service of the city. We want to start with a sentence: two phases, one goal. – continued the mayor – For the next three years, the midterm program envisages concrete objectives, visible results and certain times. Now we will think about decorum, cleanliness, mobility, the home and urban regeneration. Prime Minister Renzi is right in affirming that an administration must be evaluated for what it has done and what it is doing”.
Marino also underlined that he had not had direct contact with Matteo Renzi in the last 24 hours, “but we had a common work done both in Palazzo Chigi and in the Campidoglio to discuss. In the next few hours I'm sure we will have the possibility of a new confrontation. The work is absolutely continuous and there is a solid bond”, concluded the mayor.
The Giunta therefore has a new face. In the past few days, the appointment of Guido Impronta's successor in transport was undoubtedly arousing greater curiosity, after the resignation of the former councilor which arrived last June.
