In Green band almost total blockage for cars, including Euro 6 diesel vehicles. The Municipality has guaranteed the upgrading of public transport: "The Councilorship for the City in Movement and the related departmental offices - declares the Capitol - will provide for the upgrading of Local Public Transport during the days of total blockage and in particular during off-hours. The Local Police of Rome Capital will have to supervise in order to guarantee the observance of the provision of limitation of circulation by the citizens".

Car shutdown will begin at 7.30 and will continue until 12.30. In the afternoon we start again with the car block from 16.30 at 20.30.
ECOLOGICAL SUNDAY: WHO CAN MOVE AND WHO CAN'T
In green band combustion vehicles will not be allowed to circulate, including Euro 6 diesel cars.
However, the Municipality has foreseen bebn 34 exceptions. The following may circulate: electric and hybrid vehicles, LPG and methane vehicles, bi-fuel vehicles (methane and LPG). Possibility of movement also for Euro 6 petrol cars.
UNRAE, the Union of Foreign Motor Vehicle Representatives, intervened controversially on this choice, arguing that "it is a mistake to block the circulation of the latest generation Euro 6 diesel vehicles, whose environmental impact is absolutely irrelevant, also considering that they can circulate in derogation vehicles over twenty years of age”.
Speaking instead of two wheels, no stop for Euro 4 3-stroke motorcycles and later and for Euro 2 4-stroke 2-wheel mopeds and later.
No prohibition for vehicles with disabled pass, for car sharing and car pooling vehicles.
