Rome, an aut-aut from the Pd to the mayor Marino

The Party asks the mayor to change the council and program to prevent Rome from returning to the hands of the center-right - The 5 stars are ready to join the Ncd motion of no confidence.

Rome, an aut-aut from the Pd to the mayor Marino

Marino reset the junta and propose a new programmatic agenda. The Pd del Campidoglio group is asking the mayor of Rome for "a radical and rapid reorganization of the government team", which sees "change as a necessary path" for the capital and for its mayor, who has now ended up in the eye of the storm.

Marino, therefore, is cornered by his own party, which is asking, through the mouth of the deputy Ileana Argentin, “a change from this bizarre council. Rome is not governed only with money, but also with courageous choices and with professionalism capable of mediating with the city community. The city needs answers”. If we do not move from words to deeds, warns Argentin, the city could "return to the hands of the center-right".

"If Marino does not follow us - warns the Roman Democratic Party - the elections will be inevitable". And there are also those, in via delle Vergini, who would like to precipitate the situation precisely towards the elections, because "a slow death would cause greater damage". A motion that contrasts with that of the reshuffle to move forward, in search of a synthesis that does not seem very simple. The fear of the Roman soul of the party, then, is of losing its centrality in the capital, in favor of the Nazarene.

But the pitfalls, for Marino, are not limited to the internal front. At stake is the motion of no confidence by Ncd, which the Capitoline Five Stars are also ready to join: "We continue to support our opposition to Mayor Marino on the lack of that discontinuity stated in the political program and in the programmatic lines of action that Giunta should have realized, on the inadequacy of a political direction that persists without producing positive results for the city ".

In addition to the "Panda-gate", the mayor is accused more generally of inadequacy in the management of the Capital, which ended, according to the opposition, "in an unstoppable decline made up of continuous emergencies, reduction of services and tax increases, as well as also reaffirmed in the motion of no confidence".

Even the unions are on a war footing against Marino, even if they entrust the choice of the methods of change, deemed necessary, to the "political class of Rome". Also in this case, the accusations leveled against the mayor are many, and above all concern the problems linked to work, development and the suburbs. Problems to which, according to the unions, Marino has not proposed any adequate solution.
