The new general management of Bnl was inaugurated in Rome, in via Altiero Spinelli, in the Tiburtina station area. They took part in the presentation of the new headquarters of the bank the Prime Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, the governor of the Bank of Italy, Ignazio Visco, the president of the Lazio Region, Nicola Zingaretti, and the deputy mayor of Rome, Luca Bergamo. The ceremony was opened by the president of BNL, Luigi Abete, together with the CEO of the bank, Andrea Munari, and the CEO of the BNP Parisbas Group, Jean-Laurent Bonnafé.

“This inauguration is proof that investments are growing again – said Luigi Abete as he greeted those present -. In this new location the investment by Bnp Paribas is 300 million. How many other private investments of collective interest can be remembered in the last 20 years in Rome? Zero. From here – added Abete – a smart bank starts, an important cultural change, made up of open spaces and flexible working”.

The new Management will bring together for the first time 3.400 employees previously located in 8 offices scattered throughout the city. With an area of ​​75 thousand square meters, the building called 'Orizzonte Europa' has 12 floors and 4 underground. The building also houses various service areas: a training centre, an auditorium, a company restaurant, training rooms, an outpatient clinic, a kindergarten and a gym. "We have promoted - Bnl says in a statement - an approach oriented towards sustainability through energy and water saving, the reduction of CO2 emissions, the improvement of the ecological characteristics of the interiors, the use of specific materials and resources".
