Rome, in Ostiense here are the miniature trains

Miniature trains on display in Rome Ostiense. Models and railway dioramas perfectly reproduced in HO scale (ie 1:87). The sixth edition, conceived and organized by numerous railway modellers, scheduled for Saturday 20 from 15 to 19 and Sunday 21 May from 10 to 18, will be hosted in the historic Presidential Hall, made available by Centostazioni – a company of the FS Group.

Free admission for all. The only requirement is to have, at least once in your life, caught, dreamed or talked about a train. A special feature of this edition is that it will be dedicated to the memory of the victims of the mafia massacres of 1992, which is the 25th anniversary.

For the occasion, Saturday 20 May, to remember Giovanni Falcone and Francesca Morvillo, Paolo Borsellino and the agents of their escorts, at 15.30 a station chief with a lot of whistle and paddle will give the "go" to the model of a historic train.

The next day, at 11, the departure of the models made available by each Group/Association will be repeated. The exhibition is promoted by the association "Trains what a passion", which already in March 2012 had set up a similar event at Rome's San Pietro station.
