It is our firm intention to do everything in our power to ensure, in the shortest possible time, the resumption of the production activities of our factories, which have unfortunately been suspended in slavish execution of the seizure order of the Taranto magistrate notified to us on 9 September last. It is written in a letter sent yesterday by Riva Acciaio to Mario Tagarelli, judicial custodian and administrator of the seized assets appointed by the Taranto magistrate.
The Company specifies in the letter that “the resumption of production does not in any way constitute acquiescence to a seizure order which harms our patrimonial independence and which we deem illegitimate from every point of view. We will therefore already tomorrow (today, ed) to file an appeal with the Cassation against the provision itself ".
Meanwhile, it becomes more and more concrete the hypothesis of a commissioner which also deals with the seized liquidity.
